The Excellerator. – The World’s First International, Inter-Generational Leadership Summit Addressing The Gaps In The Biotechnology Sector
Following the success of our flagship annual event the GapSummit – The Excellerator is designed to tackle the current gap in leadership skills in the biotech and healthcare ecosystem by providing 100 outstanding participants from STEM backgrounds with the necessary tools and resources to spearhead the development of the global ecosystem.
We are looking for high-achieving, ambitious individuals from all over the world that aspire to take on leadership positions in their communities and advance their careers to make real-world impact. Excellerator applicants should be highly motivated, outside-of-the-box thinkers, with core leadership attributes, willing to learn from, engage with and challenge current leaders with the goal of creating positive impact in their professional field.
The Academy aims at providing our participants with the tools and resources to become leaders in their fields and communities through a series of online masterclasses and guided self-learning. It will focus on 8 key learning areas: communication, negotiation, adaptation, culture, style, links, scales and ethics.
The weekly time commitment for the Excellerator Academy is expected to be:
– 45 minutes for the live masterclasses (please note the masterclasses will also be recorded and made available after the live session);
~ 2-3 hours for the curated content that participants can go through at their own pace.
All participants will interact with world-renowned leaders in biotech, healthcare and life sciences. We will welcome different stakeholders from the ecosystem, including politicians, executives, founders, policy makers, journalists, etc. The Forum is based on three main pillars: Strategy, Management and Execution. The Forum will be hosted from the 18th to the 20th of September 2023, at the University of Cambridge (UK).
