Caroline Goon, M.S., M.B.A., is the Director of Career Strategy and Professional Development (CSPD), and the Director of Biomedical Graduate Student Recruitment for Biomedical Graduate Education at Georgetown University. The CSPD office helps students to develop professionally and provides one-on-one advising to BGE M.S. and Ph.D. students. Caroline graduated from the University of MD, College Park (UMCP) with a B.S. in Biology, and a minor in Community Health. Her favorite classes at UMCP were Adult Health and Development, Virology and Pathogenic Microbiology. She then went on to complete her M.S. in Biohazardous Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Diseases at Georgetown University. Afterwards, she transitioned into leadership and organizational development and completed her Masters in Business Administration from Georgetown University. Caroline has had a long tenure (9+ years and counting!) at Georgetown University where she has created and maintained a career development program and an engagement strategy for graduate students. In her free time, Caroline loves to perfect her dance moves by playing Just Dance on the Wii, visit famous waterfalls around the world, and last but not least, watch the National Spelling Bee on ESPN3.
