Ben Gruitt, MBA

Director, Sustainability & Advanced Bioproducts at Corn Refiners Association,

Ben Gruitt is the Director of Sustainability and Advanced Bioproducts at the Corn Refiners Association (CRA) in Washington, DC.  After graduating from James Madison University with a B.S. in Psychology, Ben spent thirteen years working for pharmaceutical companies establishing partnerships with thought leaders in cardiology, neurology, rheumatology, psychiatry, pediatrics, and gastroenterology.  Upon receiving his MBA from Johns Hopkins University, Ben took a position with the CRA focusing on sustainable agriculture and the future of biorefinery products.  His policy work focuses on Title IX in the Farm Bill, carbon capture and storage, and federal and state policy promoting renewable chemicals.  Ben is a member of the Circular Economy Industry Associations Steering Committee, the Sustainability Leadership Forum, and the International Society of Sustainability Professionals.
