GBR has opened up two new positions to extend the global executive team. Please read the job descriptions  below and apply until May 31st.

  1. Online content manager
  2. IT-Administrator / Web developer

  1. Online content Manager

About the Company

The global bio-economy is growing steadily as it develops new business models and technologies. However, it faces challenges in investment, government policy and research commercialisation that could make or break the future industry. Young bioleaders are isolated in regional clusters and often solely focus on self-career development, lacking the connection to global challenges and thinking innovatively about their contribution.

Global Biotech Revolution’s (GBR) vision is to create a network of young and current bio-leaders who grow and support each other’s ideas and knowledge, and think innovatively on growing the global bio-economy through collaborative ventures.

GBR is a not-for-profit that connects biotech think-tanks, industrial leaders and research pioneers to young bio-leaders of tomorrow. GBR is solely led by young passionate and engaged researchers, students and professionals from across the world. We engage key stakeholders through physical and online platforms that initiate and build future global conversations and collaborations.

About the position

We are looking for an enthusiastic “digital native” with previous blog experience to support our online content team. The position focuses primarily on the processing of pre-written blog content from our guest authors, including re-formatting, design and layout of the content.

Beneficial but not required are experiences with graphic design programs to support the visual representation of the content e.g. with info graphics.

The workload is expected to be 10 hours per month. 100% of the tasks can be carried out from home office.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate has a strong passion for online community management and blog development. He or she is confident to interact with senior authors from the life science field and shares an interest for leadership topics and journalism.

The person is self motivated and likes to work in a dynamic international team.

The candidate is happy to join occasionally team meetings during the weekend and prefers to work in an international team.

The candidate is motivated by a similar vision, which fuels GBR’s activities. He or she is willing to devote the time and effort in return for the possibility to participate in GBR’s global flagship event, the GapSummit, which offers the unique possibility to meet well-known leaders from the industry, academia and regulatory bodies in person.

Ideally the candidate is looking for a long-term involvement.
